Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was a fantasy WR1 until he suffered a knee injury, which landed him on injured reserve for at least four weeks.

Nacua had been a promising playmaker for the Rams' offense before the injury, and his absence leaves a significant gap in the receiving corps. Fantasy managers are wondering when the star wideout will return.

Puka Nacua Injury Update

Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee) is expected to be out for at least another month as he continues to recover from a PCL sprain.

Currently on injured reserve, Nacua was initially projected to miss 5-to-7 weeks, which places his potential return around Week 9 if he fully recovers without any setbacks.

While this timeline offers some optimism for a midseason comeback, it's important to note that the Rams will likely take a cautious approach with his recovery to ensure he’s fully healthy before returning to the field.

Fantasy managers will need to continue to monitor his injury updates while on IR.

 

Puka Nacua Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy managers who have stashed Nacua will need to remain patient. If he returns at full strength, he could provide a valuable boost later in the season.

Until then, the Rams will rely on other receivers to step up in his absence. Watch injury updates as Week 9 approaches to better understand his progress and potential availability.

When Nacua does return, fantasy managers should be able to start him confidently, as he has been consistent for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Nacua caught all four of his targets for 35 yards in Week 1 before exiting the game with the knee injury.
