Rookie wide receiver Michael Wilson received all the positive buzz in the offseason and training camp. The popular belief was that once Kyler Murray returned from his ACL injury, Wilson would be a legitimate option for fantasy football managers opposite Marquise Brown.
Don't tell the universe your plans. Just one game after Murray found his way back under center, Wilson reaggravated a shoulder injury and hasn't been in the lineup since.
To gauge his value for this season and beyond, fantasy football enthusiasts want to see the rookie play with the (potential) franchise quarterback. But there's no clear timetable for when that will happen again.

Michael Wilson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Wilson has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's the third straight game that Wilson will miss, as well as four of the team's last five games. It's not clear when he'll return.
Trey McBride (groin) and Brown (heel) are also questionable for this weekend, although the tight end has claimed he'll be ready to play. Murray could be without several of his top pass-catching options.
Michael Wilson Fantasy Football Outlook
Injuries are becoming a concern for the long-term value of Wilson. In his final three college seasons at Stanford, the third-round pick played 14 out of 30 possible games.
With the fantasy playoffs on the horizon, contending teams won't be clamoring for the services of an unproven rookie wide receiver returning from injury. At this point, Wilson is nothing more than a long-term project for dynasty managers. He can remain on the waiver wire in redraft formats.
