Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) has barely gotten to see the field this season. He played in just one game, Week 2's contest against the Indianapolis Colts, and carried the ball six times for 15 yards. He also caught one pass for three yards.
Then he suffered an ankle injury, was pulled from the game, and placed on injured reserve. He hasn't seen the field since then. It's an unfortunate start to a player that could have been incredibly fun to watch -- he's an explosive and shifty playmaker, and he's on a great offense.
So when will Lloyd return and be back for the Packers this season? Here is the latest injury update.

MarShawn Lloyd Injury Update
We may be lucky enough to see him again soon. Green Bay opened his practice window, meaning he's eligible to continue team activities. That doesn't mean he'll play in Week 11, but it's also possible that he may be close to fully recovered.

His teammate and lead back Josh Jacobs insinuated that he'd be returning in Week 11, though. He knows much more than we do about Lloyd's status, so there's reason for optimism for fantasy managers.

Fantasy managers should prepare for him to return on Sunday when his team faces their rival, the Chicago Bears.
MarShawn Lloyd Fantasy Football Outlook
He presents a great opportunity as a free agent or waiver wire add because of Green Bay's history of having a split backfield. It's likely that head coach and offensive designer Matt LaFleur wants to get Lloyd heavily involved in the offense, and good players on good offenses are key for fantasy production.

Former Aaron Jones managers had to watch as the team continually fed A.J. Dillon for the last few years, even though it was clear that Jones was the better back. Expect to see the rookie get a significant amount of work once he's healed up. He should be on benches in 12+ team leagues. His offense has a history of producing league-winning RBs.
