Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave (abdomen) has had a solid first season in the league. In 10 games, the 23-year-old has 33 catches for 341 yards and one touchdown. His 33 catches rank third among all Packers players, while his 341 receiving yards rank fourth on the team.
But Musgrave will be unavailable for the foreseeable future after he was placed on the injured reserve list with an abdomen issue. The injury will keep the rookie out for at least four games.
But will Musgrave play again this season? When will he be back? Let's dive in.

Luke Musgrave Latest Injury Update - November 29
The rookie tight end was placed on IR prior to Week 12 against the Detroit Lions, meaning he is first eligible to come off in Week 16. But Musgrave could be in jeopardy of missing the entire year.
On Monday, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he doesn't know if Musgrave will play again this season. The rookie is dealing with a lacerated kidney, which could very well keep him out for the final seven games of the year. He should be dropped in most fantasy leagues, if there is no IR spot.
Luke Musgrave Fantasy Football Outlook
Considering LaFleur's comments on Monday, it appears likely that Musgrave could miss the rest of the season with that lacerated kidney. With that in mind, the rookie does not carry much fantasy value (if any) for the rest of the year. Even if he returns in Week 16, he's way too risky to start at the tight end position.
In 10 games this season, Musgrave has just one game over 10 half-PPR fantasy points but does have four top-12 fantasy finishes in 2023. Even if he comes back from this injury, though, he will likely be extremely limited in his first game back.
He is a strong drop candidate in most leagues but could be a nice dynasty buy. Musgrave is just 23 years old and showed a lot of promise in his first season.
