Keenan Allen may be done with the 2023 season and the 2023 season may be done with Keenan Allen.
The star wideout for the Los Angeles Chargers has missed three straight games with a heel injury. Now, with the Chargers eliminated from playoff contention, there's little reason to bring back the 31-year-old.
There's not a lot of motivation for the Chargers to win on Sunday. The coach has already been fired, their franchise quarterback is out for the season, and it would behoove them to secure one of the top picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Keenan Allen Injury Update for Fantasy Football
On Wednesday, Allen did not participate in the team's first practice of the week. Chargers interim coach Giff Smith added that "chances are slim" that the wideout plays in Week 18.
If that proves to be true, Allen will sit the final four games of the Chargers' season.
Keenan Allen Fantasy Football Outlook
If his season is indeed over, Allen finishes with 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns. That's good for the WR3 in PPR formats before his injury. On the wrong side of 30, he's still putting up elite numbers. He even threw for a touchdown this season.
Allen is under contract through the 2024 season, although there is a potential out for the Chargers if they opt for a full rebuild. It would be a surprise if they do part with their best wide receiver in franchise history. With Mike Williams rehabbing an ACL injury and Quentin Johnston busting in his rookie season, there's a need for reliable wide receivers in the City of Angels.
Age is the biggest concern with Allen replicating his career-best campaign. But as long as Justin Herbert is under center, he'll pepper Allen with targets.
