George Pickens was beginning to look like an emerging superstar for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he logged double-digit fantasy points in five of his first six starts with Russell Wilson under center.
But Pickens hasn't played since Week 13 as he's been nursing a hamstring injury and the Steelers passing game has suffered as a result.
So when will George Pickens return to action, and what is his fantasy football outlook when he does?

George Pickens Injury Update
Pickens practiced Monday and today and is set to return to action against the Chiefs on Christmas Day. It's great news for fantasy managers and Steelers fans alike as Pickens is a dynamic receiver who can make a big impact on the game and in your fantasy football lineup.

There is always a chance of re-injury, but Pickens shouldn't face any limitations and is expected to play his usual amount of snaps.
George Pickens Fantasy Football Outlook
Pickens has a neutral matchup as the Chiefs are in the middle of the pack in terms of pass defense. However, it's likely he will see a solid volume of targets on Wednesday as the Chiefs are solid against the run and will attempt to stop the Steelers' run game and force them to beat them through the air.
🚨🚨🚨 CONFIRMED
George Pickens will be returning vs the Chiefs
— PickensBurgh🫡 (@PickensBurgh) December 23, 2024
Pickens has a 27.8% target share this season and the Steelers will most certainly be looking to get him the ball as they've missed his presence in the passing game badly. There's also a very good chance they're playing from behind and will need to throw to keep up with the Chiefs this week.
Look for Pickens to be very involved in the gameplan and make sure he's in your fantasy football lineups in all formats.
