D'Onta Foreman Latest Injury Update - November 28
D'Onta Foreman was listed as doubtful heading into the Week 12 game vs. the Vikings and ultimately missed the game. However, he did practice on Saturday, and that indicates he could play in Week 14 after the Bears' bye week.
D'Onta Foreman Injury Update for Fantasy Football
D'Onta Foreman has played only seven games this season. Prior to the ankle injury that he suffered in Week 11, the Bears running back was healthy and inactive from Week 2 through Week 5.
He is expected to be back for the Week 14 game against the Detroit Lions, as the bye week will help him recover. The Bears are 4-8 heading into their bye week and will get a much-needed rest to prepare for the last five games of the season.
In the offseason, Foreman signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Bears. It will be interesting to see if the Bears will re-sign him as both Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson have played on a similar level.
D'Onta Foreman Fantasy Football Outlook
Foreman's usage has not been ideal this season. Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson have stepped up whenever they have an opportunity, and it has made things tough for the former Carolina Panthers player.
In seven games this season, the 27-year-old running back has 92 carries for 381 yards and has scored five touchdowns. He also has nine receptions for 55 yards for one touchdown on 13 targets.
In his last fully healthy game, which was in Week 10, Foreman played 53% of the total offensive snaps. The RotoBaller staff currently doesn't have him among the top 100 players in his position. In contrast, Herbert is ranked #32, while Johnson is #47 among the RBs.
