Hamstring injuries continue to be a factor in Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson's short career. He missed three games last year due to a hamstring injury, and unfortunately, his hamstring issues continued into the 2023-2024 season.
Watson missed the first three games of the regular season with a hamstring injury and then re-aggravated it late in the Week 13 win against the Kansas City Chiefs. That caused Watson to miss the rest of the regular season.
Is Watson still hurt? Will he play in Super Wild Card Weekend? Let's dive in.

Christian Watson Injury Update
Watson first injured his hamstring toward the end of Training Camp, which caused him to miss the first three games of the year. He made his season debut in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions, where he was extremely limited. In that game, he played just 46% of the Packers' offensive snaps.
He then played nine consecutive games before re-injuring his hamstring on the same leg late in Week 13. The Packers took a careful approach with their young wideout, which forced him to miss the final five games of the season.
It remains to be seen if Watson will be ready to go against the Dallas Cowboys in the first round. The 24-year-old wideout practiced in a limited fashion on both Wednesday and Thursday last week before sitting out Friday's practice. His practice status this week will be key for his availability on Sunday.
Christian Watson Fantasy Football Playoff Outlook
Watson was catching fire before his hamstring injury in Week 13. In Week 12, he caught five passes for a season-high 94 yards and one touchdown, and in Week 13, he had seven catches for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
But, whether you're in a playoff fantasy challenge or play daily fantasy sports (DFS), Watson might be a risky play against the Dallas Cowboys if active. For starters, there's a chance the second-year wideout would see limited snaps -- like he did back in Week 4 when he returned from a multi-week absence.
Watson did go off last year in his first meeting with the Cowboys, catching four passes for 107 yards and three touchdowns. However, a limited snap count could be in the works, even in a big game. It will be interesting to see how much he does play if active on Sunday.
