It's been an injury-riddled year for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson. Watson missed the first three weeks of the regular season with a hamstring injury and then re-aggravated that same hamstring on the same leg late in the Packers' Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since leaving that game in Week 13, Watson has missed four straight contests. He also hasn't necessarily been close to returning after being listed as doubtful in Week 17.
So, when will Watson return and be back? Will he return in Week 18? Let's dive in.

Christian Watson Injury Update
Hamstring issues are the worst injuries for a football player to deal with. They can linger for weeks, and there's also a high possibility of re-aggravating it. That's exactly what happened with Watson after missing his seventh game of the season last week.
Since injuring his hamstring over four weeks ago, Watson has not practiced in any capacity. Leading up to Week 17, the 24-year-old wideout did stretch with the team on Friday, which is a step in the right direction for him. However, he has yet to hit the practice field in any capacity.
Watson will need to get in a couple of practices this week to play in a big game against the Chicago Bears in Week 18. It's a win and in situation for the Packers this weekend. So, the team will likely do all they can to get their explosive wide receiver back onto the field on Sunday.
Christian Watson Fantasy Football Outlook
Before he re-injured his hamstring, Watson was catching fire. He had consecutive 20-plus PPR point performances in Week 12 and Week 13. In those two games, the 24-year-old had 12 catches for 165 yards and three touchdowns combined during that span.
But, even if Watson is active in Week 18, there is a lot of risk in starting him in your Week 18 championship or daily fantasy sports (DFS). When Watson returned in Week 4 from a three-game absence due to his hamstring injury, he managed to just play 46% of the team's offensive snaps.
With the playoffs a strong possibility for the Packers, it would be hard to imagine the team playing him a ton after missing the past four games. He will likely see limited snaps, even in a big Week 18 game.
