Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Christian Kirk has been a go-to target for Trevor Lawrence since coming over from the Arizona Cardinals in 2022. With Calvin Ridley entering the offense in 2023, many fantasy managers were low on Kirk, thinking he'd be relegated to the clear No. 2 WR role. That hasn't been the case.
However, Kirk was banged up in the Jaguars' surprising Monday Night Football loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. We have his latest update.
When will Kirk return for fantasy football? What's his fantasy outlook when he steps back on the field? Let's get into it.

Christian Kirk Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Kirk (core) is expected to miss between six and eight weeks due to a core muscle injury that requires surgery. This is a tough development for the Jaguars, who also have quarterback Trevor Lawrence dealing with a high-ankle sprain.
Six weeks from his injury would mark the start of the Wild Card playoffs. An eight-week return means he'd be back for the AFC Championship game if Jacksonville made it that far. Either way, his season for fantasy football purposes is most likely over. Kirk caught 57 passes for 787 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this year.
Christian Kirk Fantasy Football Outlook
Since Kirk is most likely done for this fantasy season, he could be a dynasty trade target for fantasy managers in leagues with late trade deadlines. Kirk is on a big-money contract that expires after the 2025 season. The Jaguars have an out in his deal after this year, but he's played well enough to stick around, and he'll be catching passes from Trevor Lawrence for another two years.
Kirk will continue to carry WR1 upside into next season as long as his injury doesn't affect his play in the long term. Even with Calvin Ridley and Evan Engram in the fold, he's continued to command targets and lead the team in receiving yards.
