Chris Olave Injury Update for Fantasy Football
As per the latest update, Chris Olave didn't practice on Monday. He is still unavailable for the Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams but is expected to practice on Tuesday.
He will be limited in practice, but things are heading in the right direction for the 23-year-old wide receiver. His return will be helpful for the fantasy managers as they head further into the playoffs.
As for the Saints, they are still in the mix to reach the playoffs. They are tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the top of the NFC South, and a win against the Rams this week could put them in a great position to win the division.
Chris Olave Fantasy Football Outlook
In 13 games this season, Chris Olave has 72 receptions for 918 yards and four touchdowns. Despite inconsistent quarterback play from Derek Carr, the Ohio State product is averaging 12.8 yards per reception and 70.6 receiving yards per game this season.
Heading into Week 16, he has recorded a total of 151.8 points in half-PPR scoring leagues, averaging 11.7 points per game. The RotoBaller staff has him ranked #17 among WRs.
Olave will go against the Rams this week, who are giving up an average of 22.1 points and 226.1 passing yards per game this season. In their last game, the Rams allowed Terry McLaurin to have six receptions for 141 receiving yards on 12 targets. In the game prior, Odell Beckham Jr. recorded 97 receiving yards and a touchdown against them. However, for Olave to have a big game, Carr needs to step up and play well.
