Fantasy managers of Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard (quad) had the unfortunate displeasure of experiencing a kicker scoring almost no fantasy points due to injury. He put up just one point in Week nine due to a quad injury, likely losing many managers their matchups.
Some teams have good fantasy roles for their placekickers, and when that player happens to be accurate (unlike San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody), it can lead to consistent high scoring close to that of a WR2 or RB2, which is very valuable.
So when will Reichard return from his injury?

Will Reichard Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The team opted to put him on injured reserve after Week 9, meaning he'll miss at least two more games (Week 12 and Week 13). He'll first be eligible to return in Week 14, when he'll face the Atlanta Falcons. There hasn't been much news about his injury, so fantasy managers will need to stay updated.

We may not see any meaningful news until much closer to Week 14. There's a lull in available news during the early and middle stages of players' injured reserve stints, so this isn't much of a surprise.
Will Reichard Fantasy Football Outlook
Some offenses simply afford their kickers plenty of opportunities to kick. Minnesota is tied for 10th in team field goal attempts per game, and Reichard made 100% of his attempts before his injury game, which should be throw out, since he came up clearly hobbled at one point.

He'll be a good weekly starter when he returns if he's fully healthy. The Vikings have continued to play well on offense when their quarterback, Sam Darnold, isn't having one of his inexplicable three-interception games, like he did in Week 10. Even then, their backup kicker, John Parker Romo, scored 13 fantasy points.
Reichard should be started in most leagues upon his return, though benching him for his first game back to let him work off some rust wouldn't be a terrible idea.
