The 2024 NFL season is just over one month away, and we are all itching to see how the year unfolds. Since 2004 (for the most part), the reigning Super Bowl champions have played host to the kickoff Thursday night game. This season is no exception, as the Kansas City Chiefs compete against the Baltimore Ravens to begin the year.
In what will be one of the most-watched games of the year, the two quarterbacks championing their teams, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, have each won two league MVPs since 2018. Additionally, the teams are headed by long-tenured head coaches Andy Reid and John Harbaugh. The passers and the head coaches represent incredibly high floors and high ceilings for each team.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. EDT, with all the hype and pregame excitement beginning with "Football Night in America" at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
