The 2024 NFL season is still months away. However, the NFL is king, so every bit of news tops everything else in the sports world on social media. With the NFL Draft in the rearview mirror and training camp still months away, the next thing up for the NFL is the schedule release.
Over the past few years, the NFL schedule release has been a massive talking point for fans. Everyone does their early season record predictions once the schedule gets released. Furthermore, all 32 fan bases believe their team can win the Super Bowl once they see their schedule for the upcoming season.

When Is The 2024 NFL Schedule Release?
The NFL had teased about the schedule release since the end of the NFL Draft. However, we finally have a locked-in date. The NFL will release the entire 2024 regular season schedule on Wednesday at 8 pm Eastern time.

While the official schedule release isn’t for a few days, expect several matchups to get leaked over the next 48 hours. The holiday matchups will likely get leaked first, including who will play on Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, we already know the first two matchups of the 2024 NFL season.
Which Matchups Have Already Been Announced?
Every year, the reigning Super Bowl Champions kick off the following season with a game at home on opening night. This year, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Baltimore Ravens on opening Thursday night in a rematch of the AFC Championship Game in January.

There will be a Friday game the day after opening night this year for the first time in NFL history. The Green Bay Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Brazil.
While the rest of the 2024 NFL regular season schedule won’t be official until Wednesday night, fans can feel confident the league will set up several appealing prime-time game matchups.
