Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth has been on the Injured Reserve since Oct. 21. The former Penn State standout has been dealing with a hamstring injury since week 5 and has only played in four games this season due to the nagging injury.
The IR stint was set to keep Freiermuth out of action for a minimum of four games, meaning he is eligible to return this weekend at Cleveland.
Will Freiermuth suit up? What can fantasy owners expect if he does return? Let's take a look.

Pat Freiermuth Latest Injury Update - November 16
The Steelers officially opened the 21-day practice window for Pat Freiermuth on Nov. 15. He was limited at practice on Wednesday.
According to several reports, the six-foot, five-inch, 258-pound tight end is on track to play this weekend against the Browns. The Steelers will likely wait to see how things go at practice on Thursday and Friday before making the call on whether or not Freiermuth will play.
Freiermuth (hamstring) last played in Week 4 at Houston. He had three catches for seven yards and was only on the field for 51% of the offensive snaps. In four games this season, the 2022 second-round pick has eight catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns. He played 51% of snaps in Week 1, 76% of snaps in Week 2, and 79% of snaps in Week 3.
Pat Freiermuth Fantasy Football Outlook
The Pittsburgh Steelers have the fifth-worst offense in the league through 10 weeks of the NFL season averaging 283.6 yards per game. Only the Jets, Panthers, Raiders, and Giants are racking up fewer yards per game than the Steelers.
Pittsburgh's passing game has been atrocious – averaging 180.3 yards per game. The Steelers tight ends Connor Heyward and Darnell Washington have combined for 17 catches for 161 yards in the five games Freiermuth missed – an average of three catches and 32 yards per game.
Although it is good news to see Freiermuth back in the mix, he draws a bad matchup in Cleveland Week 11. Freiermuth posted one catch for two yards against the Browns in Week 2. You should avoid the Steelers' offense until they give you a reason to trust them.
