Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (groin) has now missed two contests and been out of action for three total weeks due to a groin issue. He had a bye on Week 10 to rest up, but apparently, his injury is significant enough that he needed more time to recover.
He's not placed on injured reserve, though, meaning he won't be required to miss time. Fant hasn't scored a touchdown this season, but in deeper leagues, he's had some decent fantasy scoring weeks in PPR formats.
So when will Fant return to the lineup?

Noah Fant Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Given that he never saw the IR list, there's optimism that he'll be able to take the field in Week 12. Nothing has been confirmed yet, though.
The Seahawks' inactives vs. San Francisco:
TE Noah Fant (groin)
TE Brady Russell (foot)
OLB Trevis Gipson
G Sataoa Laumea
CB Nehemiah Pritchett
WR Dareke Young
DE Myles AdamsFant and Russell were ruled out Friday. None of the other five were on the injury report this week.

He doesn't have a clear timetable to return. It can be frustrating to not know when players will come back from their injuries, but it's likely the team itself isn't sure how long it will take. Ailments vary in severity on a case-by-case basis, and some athletes take longer to recover than others.
Noah Fant Fantasy Football Outlook
The Seahawks offense under offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb hasn't made it a priority to get the tight ends heavily involved in the passing game, so Fant hasn't been very productive. He had three games of 60 or more yards receiving, which seems nice, but has failed to gain more than 26 yards in the rest of his contests.
OMG, Noah Fant showing off his route running. He sold the hell out of that crosser only to break to the corner, ICKY. pic.twitter.com/XNfMFKTYp3

The route-running talent is clearly still there, but Seattle has three wide receivers (DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett) and a running back (Kenneth Walker III) who all have more targets that he does. He's the fifth option in the passing game -- a spot that isn't conducive to fantasy relevance.
