Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a knee injury last in yesterday’s 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Love got twisted up and tackled by Jalen Carter with less than a minute left in the game.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t finish the contest, leading to Malik Willis playing the final two snaps. Many were concerned that the franchise quarterback suffered a season-ending torn ACL.
Thankfully, Love’s ACL is intact, and the star quarterback won’t miss the entire season. However, he did suffer a sprained MCL and will miss time.

When Is Jordan Love Coming Back?
While the franchise quarterback will play again this year, Love is expected to miss three to six weeks with a sprained MCL. The news could be significantly worse, but the Packers will be without their leader for a few weeks. Reportedly, the team is optimistic that Love could return in three or four weeks rather than six.

Should I Pick Up Malik Willis?
Willis played the final two snaps in Friday’s loss to the Eagles, throwing an incompletion and getting sacked on those two plays. However, he is the only other quarterback on the active roster besides Love. Green Bay does have former fifth-round pick Sean Clifford on the practice squad.
The #Packers currently have one healthy QB on their 53-man roster: Malik Willis, who was acquired in a trade from Tennessee 12 days ago.

There is some speculation that the Packers could add a veteran quarterback to the roster, potentially Ryan Tannehill. Whether the team adds a veteran or rolls with Willis, fantasy players can find a better replacement for Love on their waiver wire.
Fantasy players should check their waiver wire for Justin Fields. He is expected to start tomorrow against the Atlanta Falcons, with Russell Wilson dealing with a calf injury. The former Ohio State star could hold onto the starting job if he plays well in Week 1.
Another waiver wire target is Kirk Cousins. He is rostered in 64% of Yahoo leagues. While the veteran is coming off a torn Achilles, Cousins has consistently been a low-end QB1 as a starter.
