When is Jasson Dominguez getting called up? Will Jasson Dominguez play in June of this MLB season? Read about Jasson Dominguez's debut date and fantasy baseball prospect updates for 2024.
The New York Yankees have the best record in the American League and two legit MVP candidates, Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.
But they've been able to accomplish a 46-21 record without their best pitcher, Gerrit Cole, and still have another trump card up their sleeves, too.
His name is Jasson Dominguez, and he's absolutely destroying minor league competition over the last month. How soon will we see Dominguez up with the rest of the Bronx bombers?

Jasson Dominguez Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
Dominguez was unable to start the season with the Yankees due to an elbow injury that forced him to have surgery last September. Since he returned to the lineup in May, he has been putting up some ridiculously good numbers at every stop of his rehabilitation tour through the minor leagues.
In 19 games across A, Double-A, and Triple-A, Dominguez is hitting .380 with six home runs and a gaudy 1.119 OPS.

There's no question that he's ready for his 2024 debut as soon as the Yankees need him, but how soon will that be?
Jasson Dominguez Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
Last year, Dominguez swatted four home runs in only 31 at-bats during his brief stint with the big league club. His return to New York likely hinges on a few things. The first factor is Juan Soto's health. If Soto can return to action this week and avoid an IL stint, then Dominguez may have to wait a bit longer, as he would be the logical choice to replace Soto on the roster and in the lineup.
In five games since getting to Triple-A SWB:
Jasson Domínguez: .500 (10-for-20) with 2 HR, 5 R, 3 2B, 2 RBI, 1.450 OPS
Ben Rice: .444 (8-for-18) with 3 HR, 7 R, 9 RBI, 3 2B, 5 BB, 1.676 OPSpic.twitter.com/k9C8YRYb4a

The biggest issue is that there really isn't a place for Dominguez in the lineup as it's currently constructed without one of the Yankees' starters getting hurt or benched. If called up, he could spell Alex Verdugo in left field, and Giancarlo Stanton at DH against RHP, but Soto and Judge are going to play every day. It's a good problem to have for New York, and perhaps a trade of Verdugo - who has played quite well in New York - could open up a spot for him.
He's 40% rostered across Yahoo leagues, so he's likely only available in deeper formats, but he is well worth stashing for now as his 2024 debut seems imminent and his potential to be an impact fantasy player is high if he can carve out enough playing time.
