Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (concussion, finger) suffered a concussion in Week 16 after playing just 16% of his team's offensive snaps. He was placed in the league's concussion protocol, and wasn't able to suit up in Week 17. He's also dealing with a finger injury he picked up previously, though that's not reportedly serious.
While it typically takes players two weeks or less to return from traumatic brain injuries, the recovery process varies widely on a case-by-case basis. It's difficult to know in advance when anyone will clear the protocol, though.
So when is Hurts returning from his injury?

Jalen Hurts Injury Update for Fantasy Football
It doesn't like we'll get much information soon. Unfortunately, we'll probably have to wait a few more days to get clarity on this situation. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni hasn't been very informative to the media about Hurts' progress through the protocol.

Notes: Jalen Hurts is 100% OUT, Covey may need to go to IR, and Nakobe Dean being doubtful is a surprise

He didn't practice at all last week, so we at least know he's in one of the stages before that one. That means he has multiple more stages to progress through, though it's important to note that it's not impossible for him to clear the remaining steps before Sunday's contest.
Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football Outlook
Philly is out of contention for the No. 1 seed, but have won their division and currently sit at 13-3 on the year. The top spot will go to either the Detroit Lions or Minnesota Vikings, who will play each other in an epic showdown. But the Eagles are locked into the #2 seed, and that can't change.
Eagles path to the NFC championship game is honestly pretty easy

The above post is from before the Week 17 games, but you can see that the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Atlanta Falcons have zero chance of leapfrogging the Eagles due to having far more losses. In all likelihood, this is a meaningless game for Philadelphia.
If Hurts does play, we could see the team opt to pull their starters and rest them ahead of their first postseason contest. It's probably a good idea to do that, as only the #1 seed gets a bye in the first round of the playoffs now. So starting him is an incredibly risky prospect in Week 18 if he's active.
