Isiah Pacheco Injury Update for Fantasy Football
It's been a while since Isiah Pacheco took the field for the Chiefs. He had over 100 scrimmage yards in Week 2 against Cincinnati, but a fractured fibula has kept him sidelined ever since.
The good news for Kansas City is that Pacheco's return is finally here.
🚨BREAKING: #Chiefs star running back Isiah Pacheco will PLAY this week, barring last-second setbacks, head coach Andy Reid says.
Kansas City gets their star RB back and only gets scarier… with their 10 & 1 record.

Pacheco is set to play on Friday when the Chiefs face the Las Vegas Raiders according to head coach Andy Reid. It's still possible he suffers a setback in pre-game warmups, but it certainly looks like we'll see the former Rutgers star back on the field in Week 13.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Outlook
Kareem Hunt has served as the No. 1 running back for the Chiefs with Pacheco sidelined and has done a good job of it. Hunt has 59 or more rushing yards in all but one game and has finished as a top-10 fantasy back three times.
Pacheco is likely the more talented player at this point, but in an effort to keep him healthy, Kansas City will likely split the workload, with Hunt seeing more touches initially as Pacheco is worked back into the lineup.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I can’t wait to see Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco in the same backfield. Oddly enough, there’s an argument to be made they each represent the different era’s of Patrick’s career. https://t.co/8beVfhBeY8

This will severely limit the upside of both players in fantasy. Consider Hunt a high-end RB3 option this week and Pacheco to be a low-end RB3 option. Things should flip around over the next few weeks, but this is set to be a frustrating backfield for fantasy managers.
