Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will enter his second year with the team. After spending his first seven seasons with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals, Hopkins joined the Titans before the 2023 campaign.
Hopkins put up solid numbers in his first season in Tennessee, totaling 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns. Most importantly, though, the veteran played all 17 games. However, that might not be the case for the 32-year-old this season, as he injured his knee in training camp this past week.
So, when is Hopkins coming back? Let's dive in and find out.

DeAndre Hopkins Fantasy Football Injury Update
According to reports, Hopkins suffered a knee injury during training camp on July 31. It's unclear how the veteran injured his knee, but we now know the Titans wideout sustained a serious knee issue that will keep him sidelined between four and six weeks.
The only good news about Hopkins' knee injury is that he will not need any surgery. Still, he faces an uphill battle to play in Week 1. With the Titans scheduled to kick off their season against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 8, the 32-year-old wideout could be ready to go.
#Titans coach Brian Callahan confirms that veteran WR DeAndre Hopkins is out “several weeks” with a knee injury. He adds that there was no surgery, and source says a return at four weeks is likely (but not guaranteed).
Would allow him to be ready for Week 1.

If he misses the minimum four weeks, Hopkins should be cleared to play in the Titans' season opener. It remains to be seen if that will be the case. However, Tennessee is optimistic about the wideout's recovery.
Should I Draft DeAndre Hopkins in Fantasy Football?
There was already a ton of question marks surrounding Hopkins in fantasy this year. He has a young, developing quarterback throwing passes to him in Will Levis, and the Titans just signed Calvin Ridley in free agency. With Ridley's arrival, the veteran could see fewer opportunities in the passing game.

Now, Hopkins is dealing with a knee injury that could cost him the start of the season. While he would only miss two games max -- given his four to six-week timeline -- drafting injured players is always risky. As a result, he is not the best selection in drafts at his 89.3 ADP on Sleeper. If his ADP drops over the next few weeks, he should be on fantasy managers' radars.
