Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is one of the top playmakers in the NFL. The future Hall of Famer is still an elite wide receiver despite being on the wrong side of 30.
However, he has had a disappointing 2024 season. Adams is the WR37 over the first month, averaging 12 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Last week, the superstar wide receiver missed the matchup against the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury. How long will Adams be out of the lineup? Let’s dive into it.

When Is Davante Adams Coming Back?
The veteran wide receiver showed up on the injury report late last week with a hamstring injury. Reportedly, he suffered the injury late in Thursday’s practice, forcing him to sit out the Week 4 win over the Browns.
Adams was on Kay Adams’ show on Wednesday and compared his current hamstring injury to one he had during the 2020 season. The superstar wide receiver suggested he can play in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos. At the worst, Adams should be ready to play in Week 6.

Davante Adams Fantasy Football Outlook
Fantasy players might want to avoid playing the veteran wide receiver in Week 5 if he is active. Patrick Surtain II and the Broncos have erased opposing No. 1 wide receivers this year. Furthermore, Adams will likely be at less than 100% if he plays this weekend.
Meanwhile, the superstar asked the Raiders for a trade on Wednesday. While there is no indication that Adams won’t play again until he is traded, the veteran and the team could be extremely cautious with his health because of the trade request.

The superstar has two tough matchups over the next two weeks, facing Denver on Sunday and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. However, Adams’ schedule becomes more fantasy-friendly after that, assuming he remains in Las Vegas past the trade deadline.
