Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (concussion) was pulled out of his Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. He wasn't able to return.
It could be a big blow for the Eagles defense if he hasn't been able to play. While they'll still have stellar rookie CB Quinyon Mitchell to hold down one side of the fort, Slay's absence could lead to opposing passing games having more success throwing the other way.
When will Slay be coming back?

Darius Slay Injury Update for Fantasy Football
He suffered a concussion after a big collision with opposing tight end Colby Parkinson. Parkinson caught a pass on an out route and turned upfield to run down the sideline in an attempt for the first down. Slay made the tackle, but put his head right in the line of fire of the TE's body.

He was ruled out for the rest of the game and has now entered the league's concussion protocol. Typically, we see players miss at least one game after concussions. His Week 13 availability is thus clearly in jeopardy. We have seen players clear the protocol in just one week, though.
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. are two recent examples. Each case of concussion is different, though. Slay will have to pass through all five steps of the protocol and be cleared by an independent neurologist to return to action.
He's probably not in jeopardy of missing the rest of the season.
Darius Slay Fantasy Football Outlook
In normal (non-IDP) leagues, Slay's absence probably won't make a huge difference for fantasy football. The Eagles D/ST could take a small hit, or a moderate one, if the backup taking his spot busts multiple coverages. But the unit overall is solid, though they have a very tough matchup in Week 13.

The Ravens don't have a stellar receiving corps, but they have respectable deep threats that have burned opposing defenses on plenty of occasions this season. It may be worth benching this defense for this week if not any others in fantasy football.
