New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) suffered a chest injury in his Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He hasn't had any playing time since then. It was a surprising season cut short for the former Green Bay Packer, as all but one of the full games he played saw him score double-digit PPR fantasy points.
On a team with what was believed to be a sure-fire fantasy WR1 in Garrett Wilson, Lazard actually outshined his teammate on numerous occasions and showcased the chemistry he had built with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who he spent five seasons with in Green Bay.
So when will Lazard come back and play again? Here is the latest outlook and injury update on the Jets' wide receiver.

Allen Lazard Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Currently, there isn't a timetable for him to return. He was actually not placed on injured reserve until just before Week 9, meaning he'll be required to miss at least one more game. The Jets have a bye in Week 12, so he won't be able to play against the Seahawks in Week 13, and could return in Week 14 at the earliest.

Updates on No. 10 have been quiet, which is reasonable. He likely won't be re-evaluated for a return until after Week 13. He should have plenty of time to rest, though we don't know the details of the injury. There haven't been reports that it should be a season-ending problem, so it seems more likely than not that he'll play again this season.
Allen Lazard Fantasy Football Outlook
He's a solid WR3/FLEX player with weekly upside for more. He scored five receiving touchdowns in just seven games played and had four contests with seven or more targets. Things might not be this rosy with WR Davante Adams added to the picture, but he should still maintain his fantasy relevance in 12+ team leagues if he can remain healthy.

Adams hasn't been playing particularly well, though, giving more reason to think the former Iowa State Cyclone could be fine when he returns.
