Let’s face it: most of us claim that we’d rather drink bleach through a straw, made entirely out of thorns, than watch preseason football (that means absolutely nothing) or pay attention to training camps. But we secretly are thanking the NFL gods that our eyes get to feast upon clashing helmets once again.
One thing that we all can openly admit to? Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton getting caught Ronda Rouseying tiny itty-bitty cornerback Josh Norman, after the latter shoved Newton as both bolted toward the end zone after a pick at training camp on Monday. On FILM nevertheless!
“Hit me like that again, you’ll know something,” Newton is heard yelling. Ah, hell nah.
Should this prompt a debate about Cam’s hot headed nature? Please. That will just open up a whole can of maggoty worms, since every great player tends to let their immaturity get the best of them at times.
Newton is a top-tier read-option quarterback, and when if you give him an inch he’ll shove your ass a mile.
Moral of the story? Stay the hell out of Newton’s personal space bubble.
