The NFL regular season passes by in a flash, and with Week 10's slate all but finished, it'll be over before you know it. Hopefully tonight's game is better than the absolute circus that was displayed to the world on Sunday Night Football. Fans of the sport will hope for less than seven total interceptions to be thrown.
Luckily, a good one's been scheduled. It might be a long shot for it to live up to the crazy Thursday Night Football nail-biter we had as our first game of the week, but we'll get to see two elite offensive minds, two great quarterbacks, and two solid offenses battle things out in prime time.
So who is playing? What are the best ways to watch the game, and who will win?
Who is Playing on Monday Night Football?
The Miami Dolphins will travel to California to face the Los Angeles Rams tonight. The Rams have battled their way to 4-4 after suffering a multitude of injuries -- their offensive line has been decimated by absences due to ailments, and they've gone most of their games without star wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
Both are no longer on the injury report, and the Rams will get guards Steve Avila (knee) and Jonah Jackson (shoulder) back from injured reserve. These big men will provide a big boost to an offense that's sorely missed them.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins have won just two games and lost six. They're desperately clinging to rapidly fading playoff hopes.
When and How Can I Watch The Game?
The game will air at 8:20 PM ET. You can also watch it on ESPN, or with a subscription to YouTube TV or Fubo. You'll need to log in with your TV provider to be able to watch it on ESPN. Some of these can be pretty pricey, though. The rates change over time as different promotions are offered, so check the links if you want to see the latest info on that.
Who is Going to Win?
The Rams' offense has been nearly unstoppable when they've had all their star players, and they should excel with a newly beefed-up offensive line. They've also had a surging defense that's looked like one of the best in the NFL in recent weeks, with a variety of rookies playing out of their minds.
It's hard to see Miami pulling this one off. They've lost a few heartbreakers in recent weeks, falling to the Buffalo Bills 30-27 and Arizona Cardinals 28-27. 27 points might not be enough to beat LA -- Rams head coach Sean McVay designs and runs a brilliant offensive scheme. Expect the Rams to pull this one off and improve to 5-4.
