Suicide Hotlines in Buffalo, NY, should be on high alert:
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy left practice early Tuesday with a hamstring injury after grabbing a hold of his leg in pain during drills and had to be helped off the field by trainers. Despite the injury, McCoy is expected to play in the Bills regular season opener against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, according to Bills coach Rex Ryan, who claims that his running back’s hamstring was “intact”.
So, how many active running backs are healthy on the roster as of today you ask?
Not Fred Jackson (hamstring).
Not Karlos Williams (undisclosed/uber secret health crap that we’re not good enough to hear).
Not Bryce Brown (hamstring).
Not Boobie Dixon (calf/his name is Boobie).
The only two healthy running backs left are two undrafted (yes, UNDRAFTED) rookies Ricky Seale and Bronson Hill. The Bills went ahead and also signed former Houston Texan Cierre Wood on Wednesday.
Current backfield consists of two rookies, a dude passed around more times than your sister at community college, and Rex Ryan's letter of resignation.
And, yes, still no clear cut quarterback.
