Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has been one of the most polarizing players since entering the NFL in 2021. His passing numbers have been average at best. He has never completed more than 61.4% of his pass attempts in any season.
However, the Bears haven’t given him much of a supporting cast. His top wide receiver until last year was Darnell Mooney. Meanwhile, Fields’ rushing ability is one of the best in the league. The former Ohio State star has 2,220 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns in 40 career games.
Last year, Chicago traded away the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and gave Fields another season under center. However, will they do that again in 2024 or decide to trade away the former Ohio State star?

What is Justin Fields' Trade Value?
Since the Bears secured the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, social media has been non-stop about the team’s quarterback situation. The team could trade away the top draft pick and the chance to select Caleb Williams for a massive haul. Fields would love for that to happen, saying earlier today on the St. Brown Bros Podcast how he wants to stay in Chicago.

Unfortunately, many around the league believe Fields won’t get his wish. The Bears can reset the quarterback pay clock by drafting Williams and trading away the former Ohio State star. While he won’t fetch the team a massive haul in a trade, Chicago will have multiple suitors for Fields.
Will The Bears Get A First-Round Pick?
Some Bear fans hope the team can secure a first-round pick for the young quarterback. However, that is unlikely to happen. Multiple people around the NFL believe Chicago will get a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick in exchange for the former Ohio State star.

The two teams most likely to trade for Fields are the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons. Neither team will part with their first-round draft pick for the quarterback. However, both teams have a second-round pick within the top 51 selections.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is a big fan of Fields. He also won’t commit to Kenny Pickett as the team’s Week 1 starting quarterback. Meanwhile, the Falcons have a win-now roster outside of the quarterback position. Fields grew up in Georgia and talked about how talented Atlanta’s offense is on the St. Brown Bros Podcast.
