The Buffalo Bills used a premium draft pick on James Cook in the 2022 NFL draft, but this does not mean the Bills are going to be a run-first team. Not with Josh Allen at quarterback.
Saying this, the Buffalo Bills did lose quite a bit at the receiver position. With Cole Beasley gone and Emmanuel Sanders also out of town, who will step up?
We know about Stefon Diggs. He will be great, but do not count out Gabe Davis. The speedy receiver out of UCF can blow past receivers.

Gabriel Davis 2022 Fantasy Football Outlook
This will allow the cannon of Josh Allen a downfield threat in the Bills' offense. A weapon that could make the offense even more explosive than last season when it ranked top five in pass yards and passing touchdowns.
Davis only managed 35 receptions for 549 yards in 2021., but on those 35 receptions, he also had six touchdowns. A number that will go up without Beasley and Sanders on the roster.
This is all a long way to say, draft Gabriel Davis. The 6’2" and 210-pound receiver will become a major target as Allen replaces the throws which were intended for the departing players. Those players are leaving 124 receptions on the table for others to gather up.
Davis will certainly not get all of them. Even if he grabs 25%, this will double his output from 2021. In the Buffalo Bills' offense, it could go even higher.
Where Should You Draft Gabriel Davis In Fantasy Football?
Gabriel Davis is currently going at the 6.10 in 12-team leagues for fantasy. This makes him the WR 29. He is going behind both Jerry Judy and Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos, a team and offense which is in flux with a new head coach and quarterback. A team that also has Jevonte Williams and Melvin Gordon in the backfield.
This means the likelihood of both Sutton and Judy outscoring Davis is minimal. I would much rather take the option of Davis in the sixth round than trying to decide between the two Denver receivers and which one will find a rhythm with Russell Wilson. I am all in on Gabriel Davis this season and you should be also.
