Kicker statistics are more useful now that five weeks of the 2022 NFL regular season are in the books, but fantasy kicker projections can vary widely week-to-week, and with bye weeks set to begin, the streaming game at kicker has never been more important. Our Week 6 kicker rankings aim to help fantasy managers fill that hole for players on a bye.
Randy Bullock, Daniel Carlson, Michael Badgley, and Ka'imi Fairbairn aren't available this week as their teams are out of action. Big-name kickers like Harrison Butker, Matt Prater, Dustin Hopkins, Jake Elliott, and Robbie Gould are all banged up, so all in all, it's a tough week to navigate for the position. Some backup kickers are still strong options, but others should be avoided.
As always, stick to known studs like Justin Tucker and Tyler Bass, but for the rest of us who are playing the weekly streamer game at kicker, we're relying on a lot of variables for our kicker to deliver a solid fantasy performance, but that's just the name of the game for leagues that utilize the position.

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 6
Only players who are rostered in fewer than 50% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.
Nick Folk, New England Patriots (at Cleveland Browns)
Nick Folk is a top-12 fantasy kicker through five weeks and has made an NFL record 63 consecutive field goals inside of 50 yards. New England's rushing attack can will them into scoring territory, but they've been using Folks' leg to get points on the scoreboard. It's time to trust "Mr. Automatic."
Greg Joseph, Minnesota Vikings (at Miami Dolphins)
The Vikings' offense is powerful when it's clicking, and the Dolphins' defense just surrendered 40 points to the New York Jets. Joseph should see plenty of opportunities to score points here in the sunny Miami weather.
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (vs. Arizona Cardinals)
Myers has quietly been a productive fantasy kicker behind the high-powered offense headlined by Geno Smith, Tyler Lockett, and DK Metcalf. This game has a high projected point total and could be a classic NFC West shootout between two strong passing attacks.
Kicker Busts to Avoid for Week 6
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Kenny Pickett faced a strong defense in his debut as a starter against the Buffalo Bills, and he's going to struggle again against a loaded Tampa Bay front seven. It's tough to project Boswell to have enough scoring opportunists to pay off in Week 6.
Chase McLaughlin, Indianapolis Colts (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
McLaughlin scored a ton of fantasy points against the Denver Broncos since neither offense could get anything going, but the Jaguars' defense is sneakily better than most people realize. Expect the Colts offense led by Matt Ryan to struggle again in this matchup – much like they did in Week 2.
