Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for Week 1 of the NFL Season.

Single Stat NFL Totals
Christian McCaffrey under 67.5 rushing yards - It is always tough to go under on a CMC prop, but this week it certainly looks warranted. The Saints had one of the toughest run defenses in 2020 as they allowed just an average of just 67 rushing yards per game to backs, which ranked fifth-best in the league. They continued their dominance last week by holding AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones to just 28 yards on nine carries. The Panthers are also underdogs by 3.5 points in this game, which could lead to McCaffrey being more involved in the passing game as opposed to the running game.
Nick Chubb over 87.5 rushing yards - Chubb might be one of my favorite plays this week as the Browns look to bounce back from a horrible loss late last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. He should find the matchup ripe for the picking in this one as the Texans gave up the most rushing yards to backs in 2020 by allowing nearly 146 yards per game. Chubb saw 15 carries for 83 yards last week against the Chiefs and should be in line for a bigger workload this week, especially considering the Browns are 12.5-point favorites as I type this.
DeAndre Hopkins over 87.5 receiving yards - Hopkins picked up right where he left off in 2020 last week as he hauled in six of eight targets for 83 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals ran away with the game and his production slowed down as they were not forced to pass the ball against Tennessee much in the second half. That may not be the case this week as the Vikings come to town and are very capable of pointing points up on the board and forcing the Cardinals into a shootout as the 51 game total suggests. The Vikings allowed the Bengals wide receivers to put up 196 receiving yards across hauling in 13 receptions. You can bet Hopkins is salivating at the matchup this week and he should be in line for a big day.
Keenan Allen over 79.5 receiving yards - This should be a great matchup for Allen and Herbert to exploit a Dallas secondary that just gave up a combined 250 receiving yards to the Buccaneer wide receiving corps. Allen was heavily targeted Sunday against the Washington Football Team as he saw 13 targets while catching nine balls for 100 yards. This game against Dallas should be a bit more up-tempo as the 55.5(!) total suggests and Allen should fill up the box score in this one.
Justin Herbert over 302.5 passing yards - While this is a high number to start with, Herbert just threw for 337 yards in a lower scoring game against a solid Washington Football Team Defense last week. This week, he is playing a Cowboys secondary that got lit up for 379 passing yards. This game has the makings of another shootout with two high-powered offenses with a total sitting at 55.5. Pair Keenan Allen above with Herbert and watch the fireworks fly in LA.
