Wild Card Sunday FanDuel NFL DFS Picks - Main Slate (2024): Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Baker Mayfield, James Cook

Baker Mayfield - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Dennis Clausen's FanDuel NFL DFS picks and lineup sleepers for the Wild Card Sunday (2024), Main Slate. His top daily fantasy football lineups to target for FanDuel DFS contests.

Wild Card Weekend will begin with two games on Saturday, with the Chargers heading to Houston to meet the Texans before the Steelers and Ravens go at it again to cap off the night. The action will continue on Sunday, as three games will highlight what should be an exciting weekend of football.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Wild Card Sunday daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Wild Card DFS Picks

Josh Allen - vs. DEN ($8,900)

The Bills are on the hunt for a Super Bowl win. But the team will need to pick up a win over the Broncos. While the Denver defense is a challenge, Allen should be more than ready to get it done for DFS managers.

Without question, Allen has had a fantastic season, totaling 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and six interceptions through the air. He added 531 yards and 12 scores off 102 attempts.

Although Allen has been consistent all season regardless of the location, he’s played better in Buffalo, the site of Sunday’s clash. Of course, his DFS services won’t come cheap. However, his ceiling is arguably higher than anyone else on the slate.

Baker Mayfield – vs. WAS ($7,900)

The Buccaneers and Commanders will meet on Sunday night, with the contest expected to be the highest-scoring game of the day. Tampa punched a ticket to the postseason after the club scored a win over the Saints in Week 18.

But Mayfield and the rest of the offense should face a tougher challenge versus Washington. Then again, the signal-caller had one of his best showings of the 2024-25 campaign in the Week 1 win over the Commanders, throwing for 289 yards and four touchdowns off an efficient 24-for-30 passing.

Granted, that doesn’t mean a duplicate performance is on the horizon. Still, Mayfield has been on a roll all year, and his rostering cost is too good to pass up compared to the other DFS quarterbacks available.

FanDuel Running Backs - Wild Card DFS Picks

Saquon Barkley - vs. GB ($9,600)

As expected, Barkley will be a top DFS choice for many on Sunday. The former Nittany Lion had an amazing year, surpassing the 2,000-yard mark on the ground for the first time in his career.

He also had a career-high 13 rushing touchdowns. The Eagles and the Packers will square off on Sunday, with Barkley anticipated to see more than his share of involvement. The Packers’ defense has been decent against the run this season.

However, Green Bay has allowed 686 receiving yards to opposing backs this season, the third-worst mark in the National Football League, giving Barkley enough upside to justify his inflated rostering cost.

James Cook - vs. DEN ($8,000)

Cook began his career by amassing nine touchdowns in his first two seasons. Although most had expected more from him in the years ahead, few could have predicted he would finish the regular season with 18 touchdowns, with 16 occurring on the ground, tying him for the most at the position in the league.

It’s safe to say Cook will draw plenty of attention from redraft managers heading into next season, and rightfully so. But as far as Sunday’s game is concerned, he’ll also see attention from DFS participants, considering he should have the ball in his hands often versus the Broncos.

Also Consider:  Bucky Irving ($7,600), Rachaad White ($5,700)

FanDuel Wide Receivers -Wild Card DFS Picks

Mike Evans - vs. WAS ($8,400)

Despite missing a few games, Evans had another quality year. He finished with 74 grabs (110 targets) for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns. As such, the veteran wideout should remain Baker Mayfield’s top target versus the Commanders.

Evans will draw the attention of the Washington defense. Yet, he’ll likely get open more than once, and he could be even more involved if Cade Otton doesn’t suit up.

Khalil Shakir - vs. DEN ($6,100)

The Bills dealt Stefon Diggs to the Texans last offseason, leaving Josh Allen without his top wideout. As expected, there were questions surrounding who would emerge as the No. 1 receiver in Buffalo. The Bills drafted Keon Coleman, and Dalton Kincaid was expected to make a significant leap.

However, Shakir has been the guy in Buffalo. The 24-year-old only had four touchdowns during the regular season. But he secured 76 of his 100 targets for 821 yards. DFS managers should keep him on the radar on Sunday, especially with such a generous rostering cost.

Also Consider: A.J. Brown ($8,600), Courtland Sutton ($7,100), Jalen McMillan (6,400), Marvin Mims Jr. ($5,900)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Wild Card DFS Picks

Dalton Kincaid - vs. DEN ($5,500)

Kincaid was expected to serve as Josh Allen’s No. 1 receiving option this season. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

But with so much volatility at the tight end position, Kincaid, who had eight grabs (11 targets) for 104 yards and one touchdown last postseason, could play a big role versus the Broncos, especially with Patrick Surtain II likely blanketing Amari Cooper or Khalil Shakir.

Also Consider: Zach Ertz ($5,600)
