Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups – Tight Ends (TEs) for the Playoffs

RotoBaller Chris Lacey reviews five tight end options for your fantasy football teams. Some of these players may still be available on your waiver wires, and can be solid contributors for Week 15 and the playoff push:

Week 14 Waiver Wire - Tight Ends (TEs) for the Fantasy Playoffs

Garrett Graham. Graham was spectacular in his last game with eight catches for 73 yards and one touchdown. This was the second time in his last four games where he had at least seven receptions for 70 receiving yards and one TD. He has a great chance to repeat his performance against the Indianapolis Colts, as they allowing 241.5 pass yards per game and do not defend opposing tight ends all that well.

Dennis Pitta 2011 stadium practiceDennis Pitta. Pitta looked great in his season debut with six receptions for 48 yards and one TD. He was out for most of the season with a dislocated hip suffered in training camp, but you can expect him to have a monster game against the defensively weak Detroit Lions who allow 255.8 pass yards per game.

Ladarius Green. Green has not played in the last two games for the Chargers, but he is still someone to keep a close eye on. He won't give you many receptions, just 16 on the year, but makes up for it with the yardage-- 354 receiving yards, good for over 22 yards per catch. He faces the Oakland Raiders in his next game, and if he plays, he should have a decent game as they surrender 250.5 pass yards per game.

Heath Miller. Miller played well in his last game with three catches for 56 yards. This was the third time in his last four games that he had at least 5o receiving yards. Miller has been collecting solid yardage this season, racking up 524 yards. He could have a tough time in his next game as the Cincinnati Bengals are among the league leaders in pass defense.

Brandon Myers. Myers was just average in his last game, catching four passes for 26 yards and one TD. This was his third consecutive game with a receiving touchdown and in that span, he has 12 receptions for 126 yards. I would not start him this week, as he will face the top-ranked pass defense in the NFL. The Seattle Seahawks are giving up a microscopic 175.6 pass yards per game, which spells trouble for Myers and his fantasy owners.
