We’ve made it to Week 14. The fantasy playoffs are here. The NFL has experienced some hiccups along the way, but they have pushed on to get us to this point. Now, this is when all of our hard work pays off. We’re here to win money, pride, some combination of both or something off the wall that no other league gives away besides yours.
We saw 14 kickers put up double digits in Week 12, and, heading into the Monday night games, it’s impossible we hit that number again. We have just five guys that have cleared double digits on the week, and we could hit 10 or more if we go nearly perfect. Touchdowns were everywhere this week which depressed a lot of the value we would normally get from stars at the position.
We have now reached the end of our bye weeks, and the fantasy playoffs are here. As long as Covid-19 avoids NFL locker rooms, we are going to have every team playing for the next four weeks. There is no more jumbling of lineups because someone is sitting for the week. Now, you get to go with the mantra of playing your best players. It’s all coming together at the right time.

Tier 1 NFL Kickers
- Harrison Butker (KC) @ MIA
- Wil Lutz (NO) @ PHI
- Younghoe Koo (ATL) @ LAC
- Mason Crosby (GB) @ DET
- Rodrigo Blankenship (IND) @ LV
Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker grabs the top spot against the Miami Dolphins for this week. The Chiefs’ offense hasn’t been fully cooking the last couple of weeks, but they’re getting Butker into scoring range frequently. New Orleans Saints’ kicker Wil Lutz is next against the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Drew Brees could be back for this game, but, even if he isn’t, they shouldn’t have any trouble moving the ball.
Atlanta Falcons’ kicker Younghoe Koo is up next. The Falcons’ offense against a struggling Los Angeles Chargers’ defense should be a lot of fun. Green Bay Packers’ kicker Mason Crosby comes in at four. Green Bay is really humming right now, and a road matchup with a bad Detroit Lions’ defense in a dome should keep that going. Indianapolis Colts’ kicker Rodrigo Blankenship rounds out the top five. The Colts are finding ways to move the ball against everyone, and the Las Vegas Raiders aren’t going to put up enough resistance to hold him back from a good fantasy outing.
Tier 2 NFL Kickers
- Jason Sanders (MIA) vs KC
- Ryan Succop (TB) vs MIN
- Michael Badgley (LAC) vs ATL
- Joey Slye (CAR) vs DEN
- Cairo Santos (CHI) vs HOU
Miami Dolphins’ kicker Jason Sanders starts out our second tier. He’s been the second-best fantasy kicker all season, and he’s one of just two, Koo, that are in the top 100 of fantasy scorers. He’ll need to be active if Miami is keeping it close. Ryan Succop of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is up next. Tampa Bay needs to win, and they should have no problem rolling over the Minnesota Vikings.
Chargers’ kicker Michael Badgley is next. The Chargers just got blasted, but they can move the ball with ease against the Falcons. Carolina Panthers’ kicker Joey Slye is up against the Denver Broncos. They are dealing with some Covid-19 issues, but they should still be able to get him in scoring range. Chicago Bears’ kicker Cairo Santos rounds out our top 10. The Bears’ offense has looked serviceable with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky under center, and the Houston Texans’ defense won’t be able to do enough to slow them down.
Tier 3 NFL Kickers
- Stephen Gostkowski (TEN) @ JAX
- Robbie Gould (SF) vs WFT
- Tyler Bass (BUF) vs PIT
- Justin Tucker (BAL) @ CLE
- Jason Myers (SEA) vs NYJ
Tennessee Titans’ kicker Stephen Gostkowski leads our final tier. Gostkowski and the Titans’ are looking to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars to compete for the division title. San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould follows him up. The 49ers are getting healthy, and their offense is putting points on the board. Buffalo Bills’ kicker Tyler Bass comes in at 13. The Bills are playing like one of the NFL’s best teams, and this game with the Pittsburgh Steelers should be a good one.
Baltimore Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker is slipping to the bottom of the ranks, but it’s based on a lot of extra points over field goals. Baltimore is in win-now mode, and they have to roll the Cleveland Browns this week. Seattle Seahawks’ kicker Jason Myers rounds out our ranks for the week. Myers and the Seahawks need a win to keep up with the Los Angeles Rams, and the New York Jets shouldn’t pose any problems for Myers to score.
Kickers to Avoid
Sergio Castillo is our first avoidance of the week because *checks notes* Adam Gase is still the head coach. This team had shown some fight recently until that all evaporated against the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. The tank rolls on.
Daniel Carlson of the Las Vegas Raiders grabs our second spot. This Raiders’ team has performed poorly the last couple of weeks, and they were nearly upset in a massive way by the winless New York Jets last week. Against a good Colts’ defense, fade Carlson.
Dan Bailey of the Minnesota Vikings gets our final spot. Bailey struggled in the team’s overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is on the horizon. Fade him for the week.
