Week 11 Sleeper Fantasy Football Picks - Snap Counts, Targets, Usage Analysis

Garrett Wilson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups - rotoballer icon

This fantasy football season has gone by extremely fast. We are already 10 weeks down with only a couple of weeks remaining until the fantasy playoffs. Most playoffs begin in Week 15 and end with the championship in Week 17. So that means there are likely just four more regular season matchups remaining.

It's officially the home stretch with many fantasy managers fighting for playoff spots. The trade deadline is also upcoming in many leagues, so make sure to get those last trade offers in to improve your roster.

This article could be a good resource to use to see which players are trending up and down in fantasy based on their usage, snap count, and target share. Targeting these players or avoiding them could be the difference in a championship.

Surprisingly High Snap Count/Usage From Last Week

RB Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks - 52% snap share

Over the past couple of weeks, Kenneth Walker fantasy owners were not concerned about Zach Charbonnet's recent snap surge. In Week 8, Walker entered the contest dealing with a calf issue, and in Week 9, the Seattle Seahawks were getting blown out for the majority of the game. So that resulted in Charbonnet's getting more work due to his pass-catching work.

Following Week 10, it's safe to say that Charbonnet will continue to see plenty of work, forcing Walker to the bench more often. Last week, the second-round rookie running back played 52% of the Seahawks' offensive snaps compared to Walker's 48%.

Charbonnet's 52% snap share marks the third straight week that the rookie has played over 50% of the team's snaps. With Walker failing to top that mark since Week 7, it's becoming more and more apparent that Seattle's backfield is an even 50/50 split moving forward.

RB Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers - 51% snap share

For the first time in his NFL career, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren was named a starter in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. Running back Najee Harris still saw the team's first carry and snap of the game, but Warren's recent play is finally getting noticed.

That helped Warren play a season-high 51% of the Steelers' offensive snaps on Sunday, marking just the second time in his career that he has played over 50% of the snaps (Week 5, 2022). With that snap share, the 25-year-old back totaled a career-high 15 carries for 101 yards in the contest.

Throughout the season, it's been a firm 55/45 or 60/40 split backfield in favor of Harris. Seeing Warren play over 50% of the team snaps could be a great sign moving forward for the young running back. He has totaled 26 carries for 189 yards and one touchdown over the past two weeks.

WR Garrett Wilson, New York Jets - 12-plus targets in four straight games

We all drafted New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson this offseason because he was going to be tied to quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The sky was the limit for the 23-year-old playmaker, and he had the potential to finish top five at the wideout position in fantasy this year.

Rodgers' injury changed that big time for Wilson. Still, the young wideout has been heavily involved in New York's offense, even with Zach Wilson under center. He has seen 12-plus targets in five of the past six games and continues to be the main weapon in the passing game.

In Week 10, Wilson caught nine passes for 93 yards while seeing an impressive 14 targets. No other Jets player had more than seven. The former first-round pick has been better than people likely thought while having an extremely high floor in fantasy. He has topped at least seven catches and 80 yards in four straight games.

Other Players To Note:

Surprisingly Low Snap Count/Usage From Last Week

RB Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons - 27% snap share

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has been taking away plenty of touches this year from rookie Bijan Robinson. But Allgeier took a huge step back in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals. The 23-year-old back had just nine carries in the loss, which marks just the second time since Week 4 that he has failed to reach double-digit carries.

After getting goal-line work, scoring a touchdown, and playing 35% of the Falcons' offensive snaps last week, that all went to Robinson in Week 10. Maybe head coach Arthur Smith is listening to us after all. Allgeier also finished behind Robinson (75%) and Cordarrelle Patterson (31%) in snap share percentage on Sunday.

At this point, Allgeier is more of a solid handcuff than anything else in fantasy. He doesn't have any standalone value and won't unless an injury occurs. The Falcons backfield appears to fully be Robinson's, especially in terms of touches, as the rookie out-touched Allgeier 23-10 in Week 10.

WR Calvin Ridley, Jacksonville Jaguars - three targets

The Calvin Ridley fantasy experience is probably over in Jacksonville Jaguars. It is extremely hard to trust him moving forward, and even if you do start him, you are more likely to be disappointed than happy.

In Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, Ridley caught just two of three targets for 20 yards. The Jaguars wideout finished fourth on the team in targets in the contest and is clearly Trevor Lawrence's third or fourth option on offense. In an excellent matchup for the wideout, it was his teammate, Christian Kirk, who excelled instead.

That's been the story all season for Ridley, as he continues to be the WR2 behind Kirk on offense. He has caught four passes or fewer in six of the past eight games while failing to top 40 receiving yards in six of those contests. The 28-year-old should probably be left on the bench until further notice.
