Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some fantasy score totals for the season opener between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Score NFL Totals
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Ezekiel Elliott under 16.2 fantasy score - Many feel that Elliott will have a very solid 2021 campaign, but he does not get any favors against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on opening night. The Bucs were the best run defense in the league in 2020 as they allowed an average of just 52 rushing yards per game to running backs. They also allowed the second-fewest rushing touchdowns on the season by giving up just eight. The Cowboys are also 7.5-point underdogs and growing, which means they may have to abandon the run game late and try to win it through the air. If he is going to get over this prop, it will likely have to be on the heels of his receptions total, and he averaged just over three receptions per game in 2020. Elliott under 71.5 rushing yards is also firmly in play here if you are concerned with the PPR scoring format.
Ronald Jones II over 8.0 fantasy score - Ronald Jones should see plenty of playing time in this game and has a great shot to get over this total against the Cowboys Defense. Dallas was putrid against running backs in 2020 as they allowed the second-most rushing yards per game to backs by allowing 127.25 yards. They also allowed 53 receptions and 363 yards to backs over the season. Given the fact that the Bucs are 7.5-point favorites, we could easily see a scenario where Jones is handed the ball often late in the game to melt away the clock and get over this total.
Mike Evans over 14.5 fantasy score - Evans should be in a great spot against the Cowboys on Thursday night. The Cowboys not only allowed running backs to torch them in 2020, but wide receivers lit them up to the tune of averaging 175.4 receiving yards per game, which ranked fifth-worst in the league. They also allowed a whopping 27 receiving touchdowns to the position, which was worst in the league by five scores. This is where Mike Evans should make his hay on Thursday night. In 2020, Evans was targeted 19 times in the Red Zone and came away with nine scores. He also scored 13 times overall on the season. The fact that he averaged nearly seven targets per game will also help his receiving yard totals and makes for a solid play in this one.
Other Recommendations: Tom Brady over 20.5 fantasy score, CeeDee Lamb over 16.5 fantasy score, Dak Prescott over 20.5 fantasy score.
