BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of leagues
ANALYSIS: One of the next big, impactful prospect call-ups may be soon to occur in the form of Vidal Brujan to the Rays. Brujan has been a top-100 prospect for the last few seasons, and he has earned that distinction through success at every level of the minor leagues, and his presence has become undeniable for the Triple-A Durham Bulls. In 101 AB for 2021, the 23-year-old Dominican Republic native has clubbed seven home runs, stolen 12 bases in 14 tries, and has netted a well-rounded slash of .307/.402/.545.
Overall, Brujan has completed 1655 AB with 26 dingers, 163 steals (59 CS, 73.4% success rate), and a .295/.379/.425 slash. He has advanced rather quickly through the ranks, and that has come with some inconsistency across levels, but his base-stealing and for-average hitting has held durable over time, and his power finally appears to be burgeoning as he approaches the majors. With that skill set potentially entering the fold very soon, Vidal Brujan is a package worth strong consideration.
