Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks - Fantasy Football Outlook
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III will enter his third NFL season after being a reliable RB2 option in his first two years. In his rookie season in 2022, Walker finished as the RB18 in PPR formats while rushing for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns.
Then, last year, the former Michigan State star finished as the RB19 in PPR formats while averaging 13.3 fantasy points per game and rushing for 905 yards and eight touchdowns.
The good news for fantasy managers is that they know what to expect from the Seahawks running back in 2024. He'll rush for around 1,000 yards and finish as a low-end RB2 in fantasy. Unfortunately, though, the 23-year-old might not have a high ceiling.
The Seahawks drafted Zach Charbonnet in the second round of last year's draft, and he should only see more opportunities in Year 2. Walker will still see his fair share of touches on offense, but Seattle's backfield could be headed toward a true 50/50 split this season.

Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers- Fantasy Football Outlook
San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason is now one of the top handcuff running backs to stash following the announcement that Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) will miss the entire 2024 NFL season.
Mason has spent the last two years as the team's RB3 behind Mitchell, and he remains ahead of rookie Isaac Guerendo on the depth chart, so naturally, he will now fill the RB2 role.
Although All-Pro back Christian McCaffrey has seen workhorse usage and has surprisingly remained healthy over the last two seasons, he is entering his age-28 campaign, meaning he could carry extra injury risk.
Last year's NFL Offensive Player of the Year missed training camp with a calf injury, and the 49ers staff might want to reduce his workload just a bit to save him for the postseason. If that happens, Mason could see early-down work and red zone carries right away.
However, Mason's upside would truly be unlocked if CMC has to miss any time. In that case, he'd be a must-start fantasy option with a mid-range RB2 outlook and mid-range RB1 ceiling. Draft him in deeper setups as one of the top handcuff stashes.

Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers - Fantasy Football Outlook
The Carolina Panthers beefed up their running back room by drafting Jonathon Brooks (knee) out of Texas with the 46th overall pick in April.
While Brooks was the first RB among his class to be drafted, he joined a crowded room next to Chuba Hubbard, Miles Sanders, and Rashaad Penny in one of 2023's worst offenses. If Brooks' knee looks great at camp following November 2023 surgery to repair a torn ACL then his draft stock will rise.
His career at Texas was limited in 2021-22 before he racked up 187 carries as a redshirt sophomore, averaging over six yards per carry (1,139 yards) with 10 touchdowns before the ACL injury.
Brooks also chipped in 25 catches for 286 yards, which bodes well with joining a Dave Canales offense after he heavily involved Rachaad White through the air.
For now, it sounds like Brooks may not be ready for game action until Week 5, as he was placed on the Non-Football Injured list and will miss the first four games of the regular season.
Carolina may ease Brooks into the action but the upshot is he overtakes Hubbard and company for lead-back duties.
Mind your bench space as a result while supplying ample depth around him in best ball drafts. If Canales can help Bryce Young and company grow then Brooks could find weekly top-25 RB value by year's end once he returns to action.
