We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.
Joe Flacco, QB, Cleveland Browns
Week 16 Quarterback Rankings: 16
Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco (calf) has thrown for 939 yards and seven touchdowns in his three starts this season. After dealing with a calf issue that limited him on Wednesday, Flacco was cleared from the injury report and is listed without an injury designation heading into Week 16's matchup against the Houston Texans.
Houston has been a plus matchup for quarterbacks in 2023, as they allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Flacco has been a solid fantasy quarterback over his three starts and should return QB2 value again in Week 16.
Gardner Minshew, QB, Indianapolis Colts
Week 16 Quarterback Rankings: 18
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew had a decent fantasy outing in Week 15, throwing for three touchdowns in the team's win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He now gets ready for a Week 16 matchup when the Colts travel to face off against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons' defense has been an above-average matchup for opposing quarterbacks, allowing the 14th most points to the position.
Minshew's fantasy production is primarily touchdown-dependent, so he doesn't make for a strong start in Week 16. This Atlanta defense has allowed just two passing touchdowns in their last four games, tied for the least in the league. Atlanta's recent form should have fantasy managers avoiding Minshew as a QB1 this week, but he does make for a solid 2QB/Superflex league option.
Trevor Siemian, QB, New York Jets
Week 16 Quarterback Rankings: 31
New York Jets quarterback Trevor Siemian is set to make his first start for the team at home against the Washington Commanders in Week 16. In relief of Zach Wilson (concussion), Siemian threw for 110 scoreless yards and two interceptions against the Miami Dolphins last week but should fare better on Sunday, with Washington surrendering the most passing yards in the NFL.
The Commanders' defense has also given up the most fantasy points and most passing touchdowns to quarterbacks while recording the second-fewest interceptions in 2023. Despite the enticing matchup, the 31-year-old Siemian has not started a game since Week 12 of last season and should not be viewed as anything more than an emergency QB2 in superflex formats this week.
