Welcome to Week 6 of the inaugural UFL season, RotoBallers! We have a fun football weekend on tap, and there are many different routes we can take to construct lineups for DraftKings contests. Adrian Martinez and the Birmingham Stallions will take their 5-0 record on the road against the Memphis Showboats, where they're massive 11.5-point favorites. The St. Louis Battlehawks are also heavy favorites (-12.5) at home against the Houston Roughnecks, but the other two games project to be more competitive. The Arlington Renegades are looking for the first win on the road against the Michigan Panthers, while the San Antonio Brahmas are two-point favorites against the D.C. Defenders.
Below are my thoughts on DraftKings' Week 6 DFS slate of UFL contests, which goes live on 5/4 at noon ET. I'd encourage you to read all our other weekly UFL fantasy football articles and stay on top of injury news, and roster moves to remain well-informed and ahead of the competition. Let's get to it. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 6 UFL DFS Picks
Adrian Martinez - Birmingham Stallions vs. Memphis Showboats - $10,300
Martinez has recently dominated in the starting role, blowing up with 29 and 33.8 DK points over his last two games. The first-place Stallions also have Matt Corral and have given him some opportunities, but as long as Martinez is announced as the starter, I'm all in this week. The Showboats have a mediocre pass defense, allowing the second-most passing yards (1,103), the second-most passing touchdowns (eight), and the highest completion rate (71.8%) this season. Martinez does a lot of damage on the ground, and the Showboats have allowed a 4.7 yards per carry average to go along with a league-high nine rushing touchdowns.
Quinten Dormady - San Antonio Brahmas vs. D.C. Defenders - $9,500
Dormady has let me down over his first two starts, scoring 14.8 and 9.1 DK points despite attempting 67 passes. His latest letdown came against the worst team in the league, Arlington. Most of the field will flock to Adrian Martinez or A.J. McCarron this week, as they lead productive offenses and have favorable matchups. However, we can get a lot of leverage on the field if Dormady works out at a cheaper salary. The D.C. Defenders can't stop anyone through the air, as they have allowed the most passing yards, the highest yards per attempt and completion, and the most passing touchdowns in the league. They haven't registered a single interception through five weeks. Dormady is my contrarian QB of the week.
DraftKings Running Backs - Week 6 UFL DFS Picks
Matthew Colburn II - Michigan Panthers vs. vs. Arlington Renegades - $6,500
Colburn II may be the RB2 on the Panthers, but he currently ranks sixth in terms of DK points per game (10.7). Michigan's starting running back, Wes Hills, went nuclear in Week 5 with 26.3 DK points on three rushing touchdowns, and he still ranks below Colburn with a 10.4 DK points per game average. Colburn remains too cheap, especially considering the favorable matchup against Arlington. The Renegades have allowed 123.4 rushing yards per game, the worst mark in the UFL by over 25 yards per game.
Morgan Ellison - San Antonio Brahmas vs. D.C. Defenders - $5,300
John Lovett and Morgan Ellison look great in this matchup, but I'll side with the cheaper option in Ellison. Ellison only saw two carries in his first appearance in Week 4, but he showcased his skillset with 84 yards on seven carries (12.0 yards per carry) in Week 5 against Arlington. Week 6 presents another opportunity for these backs to produce as the D.C. Defenders rank last in PFF's rushing defense grade and have allowed 95 rushing yards per game.
Note: I will only get to Lovett/Ellison in lineups where I'm not playing a Dormady+WR/TE stack. I won't target this backfield if Anthony McFarland is active.
DraftKings Wide Receivers and Tight Ends - Week 6 UFL DFS Picks
Jontre Kirklin - San Antonio Brahmas vs. D.C. Defenders - $10,700
Kirklin is the second-most expensive player on the slate, slotting just behind A.J. McCarron. There has to be a point where the field starts to get away from him, but I'm staying on board as the preferred stacking option with Dormady at QB. Kirklin has had an incredibly productive season, averaging 16 DK points on 9.8 targets per game while scoring just two touchdowns. He's bound to get in the end zone more often with that kind of target share, and it's likely he will go ballistic this week with the putrid D.C. pass defense on tap in Week 6. Marquez Stevenson and Justin Smith are also worth mixing in at their cheaper salaries.
Keke Chism - Houston Roughnecks vs. St. Louis Battlehawks - $5,200
You can do much worse than Chism at the salary range you can get him at, and we need savings if we get to Kirklin in lineups. Chism is the WR2 for Houston, but he has received at least six targets in three of his last four games. He caught 7-of-9 targets for 88 yards in Week 5's blowout loss against Birmingham, and Chism and the Roughnecks are likely in line for another game of mop-up duty as 12.5 points currently favor St. Louis.
Jace Sternberger - Birmingham Stallions vs. Memphis Showboats - $6,100
Getting to Deon Cain would be the preferred route, but I also like stacking Sternberger with Martinez if you need to save some money. The former third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Sternberger has put up 12.6, 7, and 17.3 DK points over his last three weeks. He's seeing a steady dose of targets and end zone looks, and he has a great chance at adding to his touchdown total with the Stallions favored by 11.5 points in a game with a 43-point implied total.
