UFL DFS Lineup Picks: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Fantasy Advice for UFL Championship

UFL DFS PICKS, FANTASY FOOTBALL, DRAFTKINGS, FANDUEL

The top daily fantasy UFL lineup picks for DraftKings for the UFL Championship (2024). Kyle Ringstad provides UFL DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome to the UFL Championship for the inaugural UFL season, RotoBallers! The Birmingham Stallions and San Antonio Brahmas will face off in the Championship as they relatively easily won their respective conference championships. However, the Stallions took an interesting approach to get the job done as they benched star QB Adrian Martinez in favor of Matt Corral in the third quarter. It worked, and now the top two teams will square off in St. Louis with the first UFL title on the line. Birmingham is favored by 3.5 points, but this game could go either way and should be entertaining at the very least.

Below are my thoughts on DraftKings' UFL Championship DFS slate of UFL contests, which goes live on 6/16 at 5 pm ET. I encourage you to read all our other weekly UFL fantasy football articles and stay on top of injury news and roster moves to remain well-informed and ahead of the competition. Let's get to it. Good luck, RotoBallers

DraftKings Quarterbacks - UFL Championship DFS Picks

Adrian Martinez - Birmingham Stallions vs. San Antonio Brahmas - $11,000 ($16,500 CPT)

We're playing with fire a bit with this selection, as Martinez was benched in the USFL Championship last week after he gave a rough performance. He finished with 8.36 DK points, completing 10-of-19 pass attempts for 164 yards, adding one touchdown, one interception, and two lost fumbles. His fantasy output has dwindled for three straight weeks heading into the UFL Championship. Still, we have an entire season of data suggesting that he's the top QB in the league and possesses the highest ceiling of anyone on this slate.

He has rushing upside, plenty of great weapons at his disposal, and a coach who doesn't mind airing it out 30+ times each game. We're banking on a return to form here, and I'll pair him up with a Birmingham running back and WR/TE in most lineups on this slate.

DraftKings Running Backs - UFL Championship DFS Picks

John Lovett - San Antonio Brahmas vs. Birmingham Stallions - $5,800 ($8,700 CPT)

I have some love for Lovett in the UFL Championship. I'll see myself out. Lovett is ultra-cheap, considering his typical workload; he usually sees somewhere between 13-18 carries each week. He rushed 18 times for 81 yards last week and had consecutive weeks with 25.8 and 26.4 DK points in the middle of the season. If the Brahmas keep this game competitive - as the 3.5-point line suggests - both Anthony McFarland and Lovett will be involved.

C.J. Marable - Birmingham Stallions vs. San Antonio Brahmas - $7,800 ($11,700 CPT)

The Stallions don't run the ball much, but Marable has been the preferred back to close out the season as he produced 9.2, 23.5, 2.9, 11, and 14.3 DK points over the final five contests. He found the end zone three times during that span, which gives him the edge over his fellow backfield mate Ricky Person Jr. (who scored once). Birmingham is favored, so I don't mind getting to the lead back despite the Brahmas' stellar rush defense.

DraftKings Wide Receivers and Tight Ends - UFL Championship DFS Picks

Jace Sternberger - Birmingham Stallions vs. San Antonio Brahmas - $6,800 ($10,200 CPT)

Sternberger was one of the most productive pass-catchers in the UFL this season, finishing sixth in receiving yards while hauling four touchdowns. His season-best output came in Week 9 when he put up a slate-winning 27 DK points against this same San Antonio Brahmas defense. He caught 7-of-9 targets for 110 yards and a score in that one as San Antonio coach Wade Phillips couldn't find an answer for the versatile tight end. I'll be stacking up Martinez and Sternberger with one of C.J. Marable or another Birmingham wide receiver (Deon Cain, Marlon Williams) in most of my lineups.

Jontre Kirklin - San Antonio Brahmas vs. Birmingham Stallions - $10,000 ($15,000 CPT)

Kirklin is typically a tough player to get into lineups, as he's usually priced in the same range as the quarterbacks. Still, we can get creative on Showdown slates by paying down at Captain and unlocking players like Kirklin. His production has been otherworldy this season, as he averaged 14.5 DK points per game despite only finding the end zone three times. He gets consistently heavy target volume each week, which leads to performances such as the 28.7 DK point masterpiece he produced against a tough St. Louis defense in Week 10. Kirklin put up 16 DK points against the Brahmas in Week 9, and I expect a similar output in the UFL Championship on Sunday.
