BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 31% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Memphis Grizzlies can welcome back Ja Morant on Monday, although they are (nearly) ruled him out for that game as it’s the first day he’ll be back with the team after missing ample time, targeting instead a midweek comeback.
Obviously, the true golden days of rostering/starting Tyus Jones will be over then, but keep in mind that Jones has been an extraordinary fantasy asset to have around all year long and one of the better second-unit points of the NBA as a whole.
Jones last eight games (all of them starting) yielded an average of 39 FPPG for his fantasy GMs. He went on to average 16-4-8-1 stat lines on a per-game basis while hitting at least one three-point shot in each of those matchups. The usage rate didn’t really reach anything impossible to replicate going forward (below-average at 19.4%) or as part of the second unit, but of course, the number of FGA he took in that span (nearly 13 FGA) is going to be hard for him to reach ROS (he averaged just 8 FGA before that stint).
On an efficiency/per-minute basis, Jones was already an above-average fantasy player before he had to step up to cover for Morant’s absence putting up 0.92 FP/min in the 62 first games of his campaign. He’s averaging 1.13 FP/min as a starter even on a rather large amount of playing time (34 MPG) which is commendable.
Jones will get back to the pine as soon as Morant returns because he’s tiny and he can’t just handle any position/role other than the point. Even then, he should at least keep some production up although of course on a much lesser/diminished role with way lower results.
No more dub-dubs on the horizon, but Jones should keep up some reasonably good (for those in deeper leagues) points/assists/steals numbers.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
