BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 11% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Tylor Megill proved that his first start back after coming off the IL (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 7 K) vs. Cleveland was no fluke by turning in a dominating performance against the L.A. Dodgers this week.
Megill tossed seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts against one of the best lineups in baseball. He looked phenomenal and had Dodgers hitters guessing all game long between his high 90s fastball and devastating splitter.
1) Tylor Megill has been a bright spot for the floundering Mets in his short stint this season, posting a 1.69 ERA and 1.93 FIP in 16.0 IP
He added velocity and has introduced a nasty splitter, aptly named the “American Spork”, inspired by Kodai Senga’s Forkball pic.twitter.com/VOY1jJijtU

We have only a small sample size to go off, but Megill has posted a 31% K% with a strong 12.1% SwStr%. He also has a 110 Stuff+ rating which validates just how impressive his pitches have been.
The Mets badly need help in their rotation, so Megill should stick there if he continues to be even 75% as effective as he has been in two starts since the injury.
He's available in 89% of Yahoo leagues and should be added in deeper formats. I'd even consider him in 12-team leagues if you need some pitching depth. He's a talented young pitcher who is finally healthy and might be figuring things out for real this time around.
