Should I Start Tyler Lockett for Fantasy Football?
Last week against the Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett had one of his best games of the season. He was targeted nine times, catching eight of those passes for 81 yards and a score.
It was the second time in three games that Lockett has had at least 80 receiving yards. Lockett had been limited in practice during the week with a hamstring injury but was good to go for the game. In Week 9, he should be viewed as a solid WR3 play.
He is the WR33 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Trey McBride for Fantasy Football?
With Zach Ertz on Injured Reserve, second-year tight end Trey McBride had a breakout performance against the Ravens last week. He was targeted 14 times, catching 10 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.
He would easily be a TE1 play this week against the Browns, but there's one issue. The Cardinals traded quarterback Joshua Dobbs and plan to start rookie Clayton Tune this week. Will Tune target the tight end position as much as Dobbs did? McBride is still a TE1 play, but there's more uncertainty about that after the trade.
He is the TE 11 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Mike Evans for Fantasy Football?
Last week against the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was targeted six times, catching three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. He has now found the end zone in back-to-back weeks and has five touchdown receptions this season.
This week, he faces a tough test against a Texans defense that allows the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts. Temper expectations a bit with Evans, but he's still a solid WR2 play at worst.
He is the WR11 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
