BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 42% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Tyler Kroft's fantasy relevance hinges exclusively on his touchdown totals. Fortunately for him, he is becoming a favorite red zone target of QB Andy Dalton. Kroft is rarely going to post TE1 numbers based on yardage alone. He has only posted 50+ yards twice this season and has 30 yards combined in his last three games.
What he does have, however, are touchdowns. Two weeks in a row Kroft has scored a touchdown, giving him five on the season. In 14 team leagues and beyond, Kroft can serve as a low-end TE1. His floor is very low, without a touchdown he's likely to only post a handful of points. As long as Dalton keeps looking for him in the end zone, he will have the chance to reward his fantasy owners with a score.
In a season where TE production has been scarce, you could do worse than taking a gamble on a guy like Kroft.
