BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: It was a solid fantasy day for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tyler Johnson in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions. He caught five passes for 79 yards while also seeing seven targets in the contest. His 12.9 PPR fantasy points also helped him finish as the WR26 in fantasy on the week. Now, the 26-year-old could see more opportunities moving forward.
With Puka Nacua (knee) placed on injured reserve, Johnson will likely step into that WR3 role in Los Angeles' offense. Both Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson should be ahead of him on the depth chart heading into Week 2, but Nacua's extended absence should help him stay fantasy-relevant, at least for the next four weeks.
I think Tyler Johnson is a very sneak add if Puka Nacua misses time
- Puka Nacua 1st Half: 4% left wide, 29% left slot, 25% right tight, 8% right slot, 33% right wide
- Tyler Johnson 2nd Half: 16% left wide, 8% left slot, 19% right tight, 19% right slot, 22% right wide— Michael F. Florio (@MichaelFFlorio) September 9, 2024
As a result, he is a strong add in most 14-plus team leagues. He played 65% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 1 and tied Robinson for the second-most targets on the team in the contest. Fantasy managers should be looking to pick him up on the waiver wire, especially with a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals coming up.
