ANALYSIS: The search for a tight end streamer might be the most frustrating search in fantasy football. The depth at the position remains as inconsistent as ever, and if your starter has gone down with injury (hi, Kittle managers!) then you're in for a long search for value.
So, may I suggest a name that's flying under the radar? Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Tyler Eifert.
Finally healthy (unless I jinxed it), Eifert is getting consistent snaps in Jacksonville. And while the results have been a mixed bag so far, he's looked close to his old self at times and has been targeted nine times in the past two games.
More importantly, Eifert is the team's red zone threat, giving him touchdown upside each week. His four red zone targets are double the amount of the next closest Jaguars player, and his three end zone targets lead the team as well. Eifert isn't going to pile up the receiving yardage, but he's a reliable target for quarterback Gardner Minshew down near the goal line, and if you're looking for deep league tight end depth, you're probably not going to find much better upside than you'd get with Eifert.
