BALLER MOVE: Add Only As Handcuff
ROSTERED IN: 50% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier occupies a frustrating role for fantasy managers looking to find waiver gems to plug into their starting lineups. His production can be very inconsistent week-to-week, but that doesn't mean it's entirely unpredictable. There's a clear pattern behind his usage.
This is why Bijan Robinson will continue to share snaps with Tyler Allgeier pic.twitter.com/NnPibQhK7A

While he clearly is a solid RB, the team also spent an early draft pick on Bijan Robinson, who has improved his scoring over the last few weeks and is creeping up the RB rankings in PPR scoring. When Atlanta is blowing out their opponent, they'll sub in Allgeier much more. If not, Robinson is the guy.
No. 25's best game was in Week 6, when the Falcons stomped the Carolina Panthers 38-20. The third-year pro had 18 carries, double the number of his next-highest game.
The presence of the former Texas Longhorn means Allgeier doesn't have much standalone value, and should be added only as a handcuff. He'll likely only have standalone value if Robinson gets hurt and misses time. In that case, he could be an RB2. If that doesn't happen, he's not worth starting.
