ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier is one of the top backup running backs in the NFL. The third-year running back is the RB43 over the first month, averaging 5.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
While he isn’t an elite running back, Allgeier is a physical runner. He has averaged at least 4.6 yards per rushing attempt in every game, posting an average of seven or more in half the contests. Last week, the third-year pro scored a season-high nine fantasy points after totaling 80 scrimmage yards on 10 touches.

Allgeier is a must-have for fantasy players, with Bijan Robinson on their roster. The former BYU star would be a top-10 running back if Robinson missed time with an injury. Meanwhile, he has flex value in half-point PPR and non-PPR during bye weeks. Fantasy players in 12-team or larger leagues should add Allgeier off the waiver wire.
