BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 14% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Ty Buttrey appears to be the top candidate for saves right now on the team, despite the fact that he's been anything but smooth in the closer role so far this year. Buttrey has converted just two of his five save opportunities, which is certainly unsettling, however, no other Angels pitcher has earned over two save opportunities yet this year.
Hansel Robles entered the year as the team's primary closer, but got off to a horrendous start to the year, posting an ERA north of 20 through his first three appearances.
Buttrey should be added in leagues of 12 teams or deeper for anyone in need of saves in the short-term. He may not be the long-term solution for the Angels given his rocky start to the year, plus the fact that Robles has started to come around, pitching 3 2/3 scoreless innings in his last four appearances.
